On a warm spring day, while canoeing on the Russian River, Carolyn nearly drowned. The vivid dreams that followed propelled her into a life of writing. She delved into the mysteries of shamanism and vision quests, and practices TM and a variety of Osho meditations.
Carolyn holds a BA in History from San José State University and has spent years researching Northern California’s Gold Rush era. She lives in Northern California with her husband.
